Everyone on the floor sees the same board
For front desk staff, technicians and practice managers. How patients move through the day in urVetMD.
On a phone
Live screens from the product, captured on a phone with demonstration data.

One queue for every patient in the building
The patient queue shows every animal in the building as scheduled, checked in, in progress or ready for discharge, each with the reason for the visit. From the queue you go straight into the visit.
The same queue works on a desk computer, a tablet in the exam room and a phone on the floor. It is the same product on all three, with the same authority checks and the same ability to write, not a cut-down companion app that can only read.
Ward rounds and today’s work
Round on hospitalized patients from one list. A dashboard shows today’s appointments and what is still pending, so the handover between shifts starts from the same picture.
Front desk and the waiting room
Staff share one front-desk view, and the waiting room can have its own screens. At intake, identity tags are scanned and assigned rather than typed by hand.
Appointments that carry the reason
Book, reschedule and manage the calendar with a view of what is coming next. Each appointment carries the reason for the visit, not just a time, so the person who picks up the patient knows why they are there.
If you are under contract with a shelter, one caseload view shows which animals have not been seen, which are due back and which are done, drawn from the shelter’s own records.
Calls, texts and fax
Inbound calls route through a phone menu to the right extension. Text messages keep the full history for each client. Faxes are sent, received and filed to the record. Every read of sensitive data and every message sent is logged in an append-only trail.
Questions
Does the queue work on a phone?
Yes. Desk, tablet and phone use the same product, with the same checks and the same ability to record.
Can we work with a shelter we serve under contract?
Yes. A caseload view shows who has not been seen, who is due back and who is done, from the shelter’s records.
